Why the O.W.L.S. Group was born

The O.W.L.S. Group stands for “Offering Women Loving Support”. 

I understood pretty quickly that life can be very challenging for women as we get older.  The demands we feel to create the perfect marriage, raise the best children, while managing the most lucrative career possible begins to take its toll over time.  Women forget that they are not just a bi-products of what they can produce, that they have a calling much higher than paying the mortgage, running carpool, or putting dinner on the table.  They have a purpose in this life beyond the day to day obligations they face.  Unfortunately, few women take the time to think about their higher purpose, for that matter, to think about anything at all that does not require their immediate attention.  So after many lonely years of secret retreats and weekend getaways searching for self-discovery, I came to the realization that self-discovery is not attainable in solitude. Self-discovery requires self-awareness and self-awareness comes from the understanding of how you perceive the world around you, and how the world around you reflects that perception back into your consciousness. Examining ones spiritual connection to a higher power requires vulnerability. Vulnerability requires exposure and exposure requires an audience. There is a reason that women from all over the world, since the beginning of time, have been communing together in search of strength, forgiveness, validation and love.  Friendships offered in selflessness breed confidence, and without judgement, will allow a woman to grow unencumbered by the limitations of their fears.  Understanding that we have the power within us to reach beyond what is expected in our everyday lives and to explore the universe around us unapologetically and without restriction.  To vastly explore, test, and bend what is possible and to achieve what is deemed most impossible.  Knowing that spirituality is a journey and not a destination, I wanted to create an environment where women from all walks of life; socioeconomic, religious, and academic backgrounds, could come together with a common purpose of self-discovery and self-awareness.  Sharing my own journey along my path to enlightenment is both cathartic and empowering.  Creating a safe place where others can find a bridge to the collective consciousness is my gift to humanity.  Welcome to the age of ascension, welcome to the O.W.L.S. Group!
